Sharing Our Heritage from Bruce Castle Museum and Archive

When our galleries were closed to the public, we were still able to share with you Bruce Castle’s wealth of history from the comfort of your home.

During the lockdown periods, the Museum and Archive was sending out a Daily Local History Post by email, delving into its archives and collections and sharing Haringey’s fascinating heritage with you.

Now that the Museum is open, we will be sending out occasional Local History Posts alongside updates from the Museum and Archive.

Our wonderful collections are here to explore, and we hope we can bring some cheer and interest across the internet to you, even if you are unable to visit the galleries at the moment. Why not find out more about the borough where you live and the history of our communities?

We will be showing photographs, paintings, documents and objects from the museum and archive alongside thoughts, little histories and memories brought to you by museum and archive staff as well as inviting guest historians, local authors, young curators and volunteers to contribute too.
