Easter Fun! There is an extensive programme of activities running in Haringey for children and young people during the Easter holidays.
Get Married at Bruce Castle Museum
Steeped in history, Bruce Castle Museum is a Grade 1 listed 16th century former manor house, surrounded by 20 acres of parkland. This magnificent building provides a unique setting for civil ceremonies in Haringey.
The 18th century rooms of the Compton Gallery, Coleraine Gallery and East Wing Gallery are registered for wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships, offering an unusual historic backdrop to your special day. Also registered is the Sir Rowland Hill Lecture Hall and our Tudor Round Tower.
The Compton Gallery and Sir Rowland Hill Lecture Hall can each seat up to 80 guests. The Coleraine Gallery can accommodate up to 40 guests, and the East Wing Gallery can seat up to 50 guests. The Tudor Round Tower is more intimate and can accommodate small gatherings up to 12.
It is best to visit the Museum to see the rooms for yourself and discuss your requirements.
However, please note that at the moment, following government guidelines, it is not possible to make an appointment for a personal visit until after 17 May 2021 when the next stage of government restrictions are lifted.
Please email museum.services@haringey.gov.uk for more information about which rooms at Bruce Castle are possible to book for a ceremony (following Covid-secure risk assessments) and any other enquiries you may have, including the current cost of hire, and we will be happy to advise you further.
Please also see details for Haringey Registrars' Department about how to make an appointment with the Registrars about getting married in Haringey.
