Museum and Archive opening hours
The galleries remain closed as we prepare the building to be Covid-secure in our planned phased reopening.
We are very pleased to be able to welcome researchers back to Bruce Castle’s Search Room again.
The Search Room is open to the public Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only.
There will be two sessions a day available, either 10.00am-12.30pm or 1.30-4.00pm.
Booking is essential. Please either email firstname.lastname@example.org or call our new telephone number 020 8489 4250 to discuss your visit.
As we have had to make some changes to our service to ensure the public’s and staff safety, we ask that all visitors to the Search Room read our Visitors' Charter (PDF, 54KB)
before you visit us. And to give you an idea of what you can expect before, during and after your visit, please read our search room guidance and information (PDF, 56KB)
