March is Women’s History month - raising awareness and empowering women by discovering, documenting and celebrating women’s lives and achievements. Our vision is of a diverse society where everyone’s contributions are celebrated and recognised equally.
We are joining the celebration with author talks, exhibits and children’s craft activities throughout March - to find out more about what is going on in libraries and across the borough, see the Women's History Month pages.
Also in March, we see the conclusion of Biblio-Buzz children's book award in association with Alexandra Palace, where children aged 9 to 12 years old read and review from a shortlist of books to determine a winner, as well as a whole host of events for children and adults.
