Youth Panel's inspiring visit to Alexandra Palace's 'Living with' exhibition

For our latest panel meeting, we decided to switch things up and visit the 'Living with' exhibition at Alexandra Palace, a collection of diverse family and friendship portraits by photographer Kristina Varaksina. Each of us selected our favourite photos from the exhibition.

Joshua Campbell, one of the youth panel members commented:

"There were even some people I knew in some of the photos."

Andrew Ellul and Lois Charles mentioned:

"This is our second visit to this exhibition"

While another panel member had attended the opening night.

We also had the chance to meet the exhibition's organisers and get our photos taken by the resident photographer, who sported a fantastic T-shirt with the 'we're all valued equally' logo.

However, the weather took a turn for the worse, and we were all thoroughly soaked by the time we made it up the hill. Hot chocolates were a must before we even considered the journey back!

Macie, one of the panel members, was our official guide for the outing as she skates 1-2 times a week at Alexander Palace.

On the way back, we shared our favourite holiday destinations if money were no object, which at least warmed our thoughts. To learn more about the panel and get involved, visit the Elevated Youth webpage.
