Highlight Events

Take part in talks, exhibitions, craft, performances and activity days - all celebrating a whole host of women who have made their mark on the borough and beyond.

  • Join a messy morning at Wood Green Library and create a paper astronaut to celebrate Mae Jemison, the first African American woman in space
  • Take a walk around Tottenham with tour guide Avril Nanton, as she looks at the history of some of the women of Haringey
  • Take part in an Activity Day at Broadwater Farm Community Centre where you can try out taster sports, wellbeing and creative sessions delivered by women in Haringey
  • Join a bite-size gallery talk with a Young Curator as they tell us more about a chosen painting in the Beatrice Offor exhibition at Bruce Castle
