Scheduled activities, surgeries and workshops

Anti-social behaviour surgery

  • Second Wednesday of the month
  • 10am to 12 noon
  • Ground floor Room 3

Come and speak to the team about any anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues you might have. This could be issues like noise complaints, fly-tipping, or hate crime. You can report issues or just come in for some advice.

GamCare

  • Every Thursday (appointment only)
  • First Thursday of the month (drop in, 9.30am to 1pm) 

Haringey Council knows that gambling can hurt our residents, families, and communities. Whether you need advice, counselling, or other support, a range of problem gambling help and support services are available. All services are confidential and free of charge.

GamCare is the largest provider of support, information, and advice for anyone impacted by gambling in the UK, whether their own or someone else’s.

One You Haringey: Digital Health Inclusion Sessions

  • Fridays
  • 9am to 12pm, drop-in from the end of Feb 2024

This service will teach patients who struggle with tech to use the Internet and devices to access online health services.  These skills will help patients independently manage their health care online.

If you have housing issues, outstanding repairs, anti-social behaviour issues or estate issues this council team will be able to offer in-person support.

Women with a Voice

Women with a Voice is a space for women to get together to take part in activities that boost their mental well-being, social health and physical health. It's free to all women in Northumberland Park, funded by Well Communities.

Support groups and teams

Financial support team

Our financial support team helps Haringey residents improve their financial situation. They can help with understanding what benefits you are entitled to, applying for grants, debt payment plans, budgeting and more.

Local area coordinators

Our local area coordinators (LACs) can help you in a 1-2-1 or group setting to identify your strengths, goals and needs find practical ways of becoming more independent, develop and use personal and local networks, join local community groups, and feel more connected to the local area.

Mental health peer workers

Our peer workers run informal workshops and sessions, including focus groups and activities over a cup of tea.

CAMHS - children’s wellbeing team

The children’s wellbeing team offer support to families where a primary school aged child is struggling with behavioural difficulties or anxiety. We also work with teenagers who are having difficulties with low mood or anxiety. We offer from 6 to 8 sessions (1 hour each) directly to a parent/carer or teenager to give tools and ideas to help.

We see families at Northumberland Park on Mondays, but we can also see people online on another day if they prefer.

Prayer room

Prayer room available for Ramadan beginning in March for staff, guests and volunteers accessing the centre between 9-5pm. Please note this space is accessed by steps and not wheelchair accessible. Please ask at reception for directions.
