Library service changes
From Thursday 3 December, all Haringey libraries will offer the following services:
• Drop Boxes – for book returns so that books can be quarantined before being placed back into circulation.
• Grab & Go (except Stroud Green and Harringay Library) – self-selection of books by customers but with no provision to stay or browse in the library. There will be a maximum occupancy, with one-way systems applied where possible.
• Click & Collect – books that have been pre-ordered by phone.
• We select, you collect (Ready Reads) – bags of preselected books, sorted by genre and age group.
• Limited Computer use – pre-booked usage of a limited number of computers.
• Telephone line - for book requests and computer booking for those without online access.
Stroud Green & Harringay Library will offer a limited Click & Collect service, as preparation for capital works has begun at the library.
