Haringey gives thanks on World Teachers' Day
Today (Thursday 5 October 2023) is World Teachers’ Day – an opportunity for us all to show our appreciation, gratitude and respect for people who educate children and young people here in Haringey and beyond.
Here, we hear from Haringey Council’s Cabinet Member for Children, Schools and Families, Cllr Zena Brabazon, who is “so grateful for the work that teachers are doing in supporting our young people to learn, achieve, develop themselves and go on to have fulfilling lives.”
She adds: “Thanks you to all our teachers everywhere.”
