What is the POET Survey?
Haringey Council are on an improvement journey in relation to improving SEND services. As part of our journey, we have commissioned ‘In -Control’ (external link); the national inclusion charity, to undertake an independent survey to inform the progress that Haringey has made since the Ofsted Inspection in 2021 and to feed into our next steps which will be used to inform our ‘SEND Voices Day’ scheduled for Tuesday 7 March 2023.
The Personal Outcomes Evaluation Tool (POET) survey will help to measure what the impact of an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) is, and the support that it provides. The results will be used to help shape the service going forward and to build on/improve outcomes for Haringey’s children, young people, and families.
Why would you want to take part?
To have your say about Haringey SEND! Use this independent survey to tell us what you think about us, about progress we have made since our inspection and anything which we need to improve.
We want to hear your views whether you are a young person with SEND; a parent or carer of a child or young person with SEND or a practitioner who works with young people with SEND.
