At Triangle we deliver a curriculum based on the Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework (external link) which sets the standards for learning, development and care for children from 6 months up to 5 years of age.

Our curriculum covers all key areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage and is designed to meet the needs of each individual child. This describes the seven areas of learning and development which ‘must be implemented through planned, purposeful play’ (EYFS 2014). Our team of highly skilled practitioners puts the Foundation Stage into practice every day by developing the skills of playing and exploring, active learning and creating, and thinking critically.

We use an online learning journal called Tapestry to record children’s learning and development. Your child’s key person will upload pictures of your child at nursery and make assessments on your child’s learning. You will be able to log on to view your child’s development and share information about your child’s development at home.

We plan regular parent meetings so you can meet with your child’s key person and exchange information about their development. We encourage parents to come in and get involved in nursery sessions and join our Parent Forum. Ofsted says:

‘Children are happy, settled and eager to learn. They are prepared well for the next stage in their learning, particularly for school’.
