Week of Action to focus on Noel Park

The latest in our series of Weeks of Action is set to get underway on Monday (22 September 2025) in Noel Park, where Anti-Social Behaviour, waste and litter, criminality and parking are among the key issues to be addressed by Haringey Council.
Week of Action 2025

Activities will include joint patrols by the police and the council’s anti-social behaviour (ASB) and waste enforcement teams.

The Week of Action will involve vital services across the borough, including the council’s ASB, Highways, Home Improvement, Homelessness Outreach, Litter and Waste, Parking, Parks and Regulatory Services teams, as well as other partner agencies and organisations such as Bringing Unity Back Into The Community (BUBIC) and Community Payback.

There will be a Central Engagement Hub situated within the ward for two hours each weekday, giving opportunities for residents to discuss any issues or concerns they have with council staff.

A full timetable for the hub in Noel Park is below:

• Monday 22 September 2025: BUBIC, Parking Enforcement and Housing teams outside Boots Wood Green High Road N22 – between 2pm to 4pm

• Tuesday 23 September 2025: Anti-Social Behaviour and Waste Enforcement teams outside Noel Park Primary School at 115 Gladstone Avenue N22 –between 2:30pm to 4:30pm

• Wednesday 24 September 2025: Community Safety Team and Parking Enforcement team near to Alexandra Primary at the corner of Western Road/Wood Green Common N22–between 2:30pm-4:30pm

• Thursday 25 September 2025: Anti-Social Behaviour and Waste Enforcement teams at Lymington Avenue N22/corner of Mark Road N22– between 11am-1pm

• Friday 26 September 2025: Hate Crime and Community Safety teams outside Wood Green Library (Library Forecourt) at 187-197 Wood Green High Road N22 – between 11am to 1pm

Haringey Council coordinates these Weeks of Action to take place on a bi-monthly basis, with each one targeting a different area of the borough.

Previous Weeks of Action have been held in Alexandra Park, Bounds Green, Bruce Castle, Bruce Grove, Crouch End, Highgate, Hornsey, Muswell Hill, Northumberland Park, South Tottenham, St Ann’s, Stroud Green, Tottenham Hale, Turnpike Lane and Wood Green.

The next Weeks of Action will take place in the West Green (November 2025), Crouch End (January 2026) and Seven Sisters wards (March 2026).
