Digital EHCP Implementation
As you may already be aware, we are in the process of implementing a new digital EHCP solution called CACI. The new system will help to improve co-production and timeliness of plans. CACI will allow Health professionals, parent carers and young people to input directly into plans via the portals.
We are currently in the process of implementing the new system for all internal members of staff, and we are working with a few schools to help us test that the system is working as it should and is fit for purpose. Over the Summer Holidays, we will be training Health professionals on how to use the system and in the Autumn Term, we will be providing training to all schools before rolling out to parent carers.
We will be holding weekly drop-in sessions for SENCOs to attend, who will then help to support with ensuring parent carers are able to access the system and their child’s records. We will also be holding weekly drop-in sessions for parent carers to attend. User guides and videos will be uploaded on to the Local Offer website.
