Haringey’s Travel Assistance team coordinates home-to-school travel assistance and independent travel training for eligible children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the borough.
We provide advice and arrange various forms of travel assistance to help support you in getting your child to their educational venue safely, on time and ready to learn. Our services include:
- Independent Traveller Training programme
- Personal Travel Budgets programme
- Council Managed Transport Provision (CMTP)
These services are available to children and young people aged 5 to 25 in education within Haringey. However, eligibility is based on specific criteria. Please refer to our eligibility and application process below for more details.
