New Planning and Building Control system
We are in the process of replacing our existing Planning and Building Control IT system with a modern, more efficient and user-friendly system.
During the transition period, some existing service functions may be unavailable. We will endeavour to maintain our customer-focused approach and meet application deadlines.
What will change
The new portal will allow you to:
- view and comment on planning applications
- submit:
- enforcement enquiries
- general enquires
- pre-application advice requests
- building control applications
The new portal will also provide an enhanced search function and a modern layout.
Applications can be processed more efficiently as manual tasks will be automated.
Those who submit applications or enquires related to planning, building control, planning pre-applications and planning enforcement cases, will soon be able to monitor progress and receive live updates via their own registered account.
The new solution is mobile-friendly and will enable you to view details on your smartphone and tablet as well as on your PC. A fully integrated email function will also be available for better communication.
