Haringey Warm Welcome

Your Local Living Rooms

A warm welcome this winter

Haringey Warm Welcome is a growing network of inclusive, warm, and welcoming spaces across the borough that are run by local businesses, organisations, and places of worship.

We know that some residents may be finding it hard to keep their homes warm due to rising energy costs, so these spaces provide a warm, safe place for residents to go, meet new people get some refreshments, and take part in fun activities.

All are welcome.

Wall of Kindness

Pay it forward: respond to a person’s kindness to oneself by being kind to someone else.

In some spaces within the Haringey Warm Welcome Network, you may be able to pick up a food or drink item for free while keeping warm.

If you see a ‘Warm Welcome’ sign in a shop, or window, residents have the option to pay for an extra cup of coffee, a pastry, or perhaps a sandwich for someone that may need it, and this voucher is placed on the ‘Wall of Kindness’.

Anyone is welcome to take from the ‘Wall of Kindness’. Just pick up a voucher, take it to the counter, and the item on it is yours for free.

Just remember to pay forward this generosity in an act of kindness to someone else. It could be as simple as a smile, or an offer of help to someone else who might need it.

The kindness starts with you!

Pay it forward - definition: respond to a person's kindness to oneself by being kind to someone else. The kindness starts with you!
