LTN exemptions: urgent safety matter

You can apply for an LTN exemption if you need to use a vehicle for an urgent safety matter.

Where the exemption applies will depend on why you need it. For example, it might cover one of the following:

• a single LTN filter
• a whole LTN
• all LTNs in Haringey

How to apply

Whenever possible, apply in advance if you know you’ll need an exemption for an urgent safety matter. This will give us time to review and respond to your request.

We understand this might not be possible in an emergency. In this situation, exemption requests will be dealt with through the parking penalty charge appeals process.
