Resident carer's permit
Who can apply for a resident carer’s permit?
A resident carer's permit is for people in Haringey who care for residents in their own home.
Residents who live in a controlled parking zone (CPZ) can apply for a resident carer’s permit if their medical practitioner, nurse or social worker has completed and signed a declaration of care (PDF, 158KB). Nannies and care providers for young children are also eligible.
The application must be made by the resident on behalf of their carer. The vehicle should be registered to the carer.
Please note:
- we don’t issue carer’s permits to commercial care enterprises
- we don’t issue more than one permit for a carer
More information on the virtual permit system can be found in our booklet Your new Parking Permit: a guide to your new Virtual Parking Permit (PDF, 209KB)
