Last chance to register to vote in the Mayor of London and London Assembly elections on 2 May

Residents in Haringey are being urged to ensure they are eligible to vote in the upcoming elections as the deadline for registration is tomorrow.

On Thursday 2 May, voters across the capital will elect the Mayor of London and 25 London Assembly Members.

Residents have until midnight on Tuesday 16 April to register to vote. 

It is quick and easy to register through the government’s website.  Alternatively, you can request a paper application form to be sent to you by post.

In order to vote, you must be registered, be at least 18 on the day of the elections, and have British, EU, Irish or qualifying Commonwealth citizenship.

If you want to apply for a postal vote for the Mayor of London and London Assembly elections you must do so by 5pm on Wednesday 17 April and for a proxy vote, the deadline is 5pm on Wednesday 24 April.
