Hermitage and Gardens by-election – Thursday 29 June 2023

A by-election is to be held on Thursday 29 June 2023, following the sad passing of Councillor Julie Davies.

Key dates

  • Tuesday 13 June – deadline to register to vote
  • Wednesday 14 June, 5pm – deadline to receive new postal vote applications, or to change or cancel an existing postal, proxy or postal proxy vote arrangement
  • Wednesday 21 June, 5pm – deadline to receive new proxy vote applications
  • Wednesday 21 June, 5pm – deadline to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate

Photo ID requirement

Voters will need to show photo identification to vote at a polling station. More information can be found on our Voter ID page.
