Data protection legislation gives people the right to access information held about them.
If you think that Haringey Council holds information about you and would like to access that information you can make a Subject Access Request (SAR). You can do this using our online form.
Before you start filling in the form, please have the necessary information and documents to hand, as you won’t be able to save the form and come back to it.
It will help us to locate your personal data if you can:
- describe the information you want
- tell us which council service you think holds your information
- give us any other details which may help with the search, e.g. your former names, relevant dates, names of staff or social workers who have helped you
- provide us with the required identity documents
If you need to follow up on an existing request, please don’t fill in a new form. Email HaringeySAR@infreemation.co.uk quoting the reference number you were given in the subject line.
