Make a Freedom of Information (FOI) Request
Did you know:
- We already publish a lot of information on our website. To save time you can:
- search our FOI request database to see if we have already answered your question,
- view our commonly requested information page,
- view the publication scheme page or
- search meetings and agendas to find for the information you are looking for.
- There are a number of exemptions (external link) which allow public authorities to withhold information – these include the release of personal or commercially sensitive information. Also if it would take 18 hours or more to locate and extract the information you have asked for we do not have to provide the information.
- It can take up to 20 working days to provide a full response to a Freedom of Information Request.
- We are entitled to ask you to pay for any expenses that we incur providing the information, such as printing, photocopying, scanning and postage costs
