Exemptions from low traffic neighbourhoods

Meeting the needs of residents with access and disability needs was an important part of designing Haringey's low traffic neighbourhoods.

There are free vehicle exemptions for:

• Blue Badge holders
• people with health conditions, access needs and disability needs – known as an 'individual circumstance' exemption
• urgent safety matters
• special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) transport
• Haringey services transporting people with a disability and Transport for London’s Dial-a-Ride service
• emergency services
• council refuse and cleansing services
