What was the consultation about?

The North London Waste Authority, which arranges the disposal, recycling and composting of waste collected by Haringey, Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Islington and Waltham Forest, consulted with the public on a replacement Energy Recovery Facility in Edmonton.

The NLWA asked North London residents to consider the options for delivering a new site as the current facility is reaching the end of its useful life.

Issues included who will carry out the works and how they will be funded and delivered.
