You can access a range of services, from advice and information to structured drug treatment programmes. support is available for families, carers and children affected by substance use.
Appointments are available online, over the phone, or in person.
The Grove drug support service
The Grove provides individual programmes to help anyone ready to reduce or stop their drug use. They also run hub clinics based in GP surgeries and other locations across Haringey.
The Grove can help with:
- assessment and recovery planning
- detoxification and rehabilitation treatment
- support with chemsex
- one-to-one counselling and other 'talking therapies'
- group therapy
- recreational drug service
- women's only space
- support for friends and family
- methadone or buprenorphine prescribing
- needle exchange
- criminal justice interventions
- employment, training, benefits and welfare support

BUBIC drug support service
BUBIC is a local community drug and alcohol service set up by ex-drug users. They run support groups, one-to-one advice, support for carers, and other activities across Haringey to help people overcome problematic drug use.

Haringey Recovery Service
Haringey Recovery Service is a free and confidential service which provides recovery and aftercare services for adults in Haringey.
Their services include:
- one-to-one support sessions
- online recovery tools
- counselling
- a range of support groups
- women-only spaces
- services for those who identify as LGBTQ+
- social spaces
- volunteering and employment opportunities

Services for children, young people, and families
Insight Platform provides free and confidential support and advice to young people who are using or affected by substance misuse. The service is also open to family members who are affected by the young person’s drug use.

Access to Naloxone
Naloxone is a life-saving medication used to reverse an opioid overdose from drugs like heroin, methadone, and codeine. If someone is having an opioid overdose, this medication can buy extra time for the emergency services to arrive.
You can access Naloxone for free from participating Healthy Living Pharmacies.

Needle exchange
People aged 18 and over can access clean injecting equipment and return any used equipment at participating Healthy Living Pharmacies. Anyone under 18 years old should go to Insight Platform.
