Report fallen leaves

Part of: Street cleaning

Fallen leaves are cleared as part of normal street sweeping.

On streets with lots of trees, extra street sweeping is done when there are lots of leaves on the ground – mostly between mid-October and late December.

Report leaves on your road

Contact Veolia Haringey if you have concerns about leaves on your road.

If lots of leaves have fallen quickly because of windy weather, please be patient – they'll be cleared as soon as possible.

Get Involved

Our leafing buddies volunteering scheme during the Autumn months allows residents to help us:

  • sweep up leaves during the autumn to clear routes
  • prevent flooding during heavy rain
  • keep pavements slip free

Fallen leaves are cleared as part of normal street sweeping. Extra street sweeping is done on streets where there are more trees, but standard sweeping happens mostly between mid-October and late December. Residents can contact Veolia Haringey if they have concerns about leaves on their road.
