What we consulted on

- Have a culture that does not tolerate abuse
- Work together to prevent abuse, and
- Know what to do when abuse happens
Haringey Safeguarding Adults Board Strategic Plan 2015-18
This document sets out the Board’s Strategic Plan for the next three years and will be reviewed annually. SABs are required to publish a strategic plan that covers each financial year. 2015-16 has been a transition year as we have moved to the statutory independent status of the SAB under the Care Act 2014 which is why this plan covers this three year period. The annual review in 2016-17 will involve moving the plan forwards.
You can read more about the Draft Haringey SAB Strategic Plan 2015-18 Consultation Document (PDF, 278KB).
Why did we consult?
The SAB has a statutory responsibility to engage and consult with the local Healthwatch and the local community in preparing its plan. We also targeted community and voluntary sector groups working directly with vulnerable adults and their carers and through our Board partner representatives.
What happens next
Your views were used to help inform the final Strategic Plan that will determine the work of the SAB going forward to 2018. The Final Plan was presented to the SAB meeting at the end of April 2016.
