Haringey Adult Mental Health Services

One in four of us will experience some form of mental illness during our lives.

Get help if you need it

If you are experiencing depression, anxiety or other forms of mental distress it is important to get help as soon as possible.

The sooner help is given, the sooner recovery can begin. Please see the community support page for information on things available in the Haringey community, or help in a crisis if you or someone you know is in crisis.

Haringey’s specialist Adult Mental Health Services are provided in partnership between Haringey Council and Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust, and include community mental health services as well as hospital inpatient services.

Social care assessments are carried out by workers in the community mental health teams.

Referral (external link) can only be made by GPs or other health or social care professionals. If you think that you or someone you care for may need specialist health or social care, please speak to your GP.

You can learn more about services offered on the Barnet Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust website (external link). Alternatively, you can call 020 8702 6700.
