What are the benefits of becoming more physically active?

It can help to:

  • reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke
  • prevent and manage blood pressure
  • keep you mobile
  • reduce stress and anxiety
  • keep your muscles and bones strong and healthy
  • improve your energy levels
  • prevent weight gain and aid with weight loss
  • prevent and manage high cholesterol.

Classes

When you join our Move More programme, your Health Coach will help you set personal goals to help you get fit and healthy in a way that suits you.

We are delivering a range of fun and effective exercise classes for beginners at various locations in Haringey!

Monday
10am - Full Body Flow
11.15am - Strength and Conditioning
12.30pm- Sit to Strengthen

Wednesday
10.30am - Walking Group
6.30pm - Sit to Strengthen
7.30pm - The 7 Circuit

Thursday
10.30am - Walking Group

Friday
10am - Full Body Flow
11.15am - Strength and Conditioning

Haringey Walks

Why not try one of the many walking groups across Haringey? Download the current Haringey Wellbeing Walks schedule (PDF, 163KB) (updated October 2022) - and find a walk that's right for you!

All walks take between 45 minutes and 1 hour. They get you moving and active, and you will see parts of Haringey in peaceful and enjoyable surroundings.
