    Human Resources and Organisation Development

    Dear Candidate,

Dan Paul - Chief People Officer at Haringey CouncilThanks for your interest in these roles. I have myself recently started at Haringey, in September 2020. What attracted me to the council was a very impressive and engaging political and managerial leadership, a really ambitious agenda for the borough and for the council, and the pace and energy to get things done.

I also saw huge opportunities to build a Human Resources and Organisational Development team to deliver the council’s priorities, and the opportunity to lead the development of something new and impressive. If that sounds like something you want to be a part of, do take a look at the roles below and I really look forward to meeting you – probably virtually!

    Dan Paul
    Chief People Officer

Why work for HR and OD Services at Haringey?

There are some great opportunities available here. They’re all new Head of Service roles, and we have carefully considered how to structure the services so that they best work together to deliver great services to the organisation and lead some really important and visible initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to shape your service to meet the Council’s aims and ambitions, and then the autonomy to deliver. Whilst you might come from Local Government, you really don’t need to in order to succeed in these roles. You might equally be from the private sector or other parts of the wider public sector. As well as these new head of service roles, we also have a team of Strategic HR Business Partners in place as part of the HR and OD leadership team.
