Camp Simcha: Making a difference for seriously ill children

Camp Simcha exists to provide practical and emotional support for Jewish families where children are suffering from serious illness including premature babies.

Support is provided throughout the whole of the UK to families who have children and young people aged 0-18

Chance UK Charity

Chance UK is a London-based charity with over 25 years of experience working with children who have faced trauma. It provides evidence-based interventions tailored to each child's needs through one-to-one mentoring, group sessions, and school workshops. It also offers specialist support to families, helping them build knowledge, skills, and resilience. When needed, it collaborates with schools and other support services.

Unique is a charity that aims to inform, support and alleviate the isolation of anyone affected by a rare chromosome disorder, copy number variant or single gene disorder associated with learning disability/developmental delay.

They provide specialist information relating to hundreds of different rare chromosome disorders and autosomal single-gene disorders to inform parents, carers, and the professionals working with them.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. They deliver rehabilitation, education and community services through skilled teams who work with children and young people, and their families.

Independent Parental Special Education Advice (ISPEA) Charity

Independent Parental Special Education Advice (ISPEA) is the leading national charity in the field of SEND law in England.

They provide:

  • Free and independent legal advice and support to families of children and young people with SEND. 
  • Training on the SEND legal framework.
  • Help children and young people with SEND get the education they are entitled to by law.

Children's Community Nursing Service (NHS)

The Children's Community Nursing Service is an NHS-run service of highly trained and experienced paediatric nurses who care for babies, children, and young people (aged 0-16) who live in Haringey and the N postcodes of Enfield.

The nurses visit children at home to deliver nursing care to children with both long-term and acute conditions. They work closely with allied professionals such as dieticians, community paediatricians, psychologists, clinical nurse specialists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, school nurses, and social workers.
