SitePlanIf you require a location plan or site plan as part of your Planning or Building Control application, you can purchase this online from the Planning Portal - buy a planning map website (external link).

All Planning applications must have a location plan and a site plan.

The Location Plan must be at a scale of 1:1250 (or 1:2500 for larger sites) on an up to date map and outline the application site with a red line. The site should include all land necessary to carry out the proposed development including the access to a public highway. Any other land owned by the applicant should be outlined with a blue line.

The Site Plan must be to a scale of 1:500 or 1:200. It must include the direction of North, the proposed development in relation to the site boundaries with written dimensions. It should include any public rights of way, trees, hard surfacing and boundary treatment where relevant).
