Placemaking and regeneration

Haringey - a great place for all

Wood GreenHaringey is our home, and we are proud of it. As a council we are ambitious for Haringey’s future and have great ambitions for the people who live here.

We are investing in making our places better so our communities can live healthy lives, work and play. Strong families, strong networks and strong communities give residents the opportunity to live well and achieve their potential.

Regeneration work centres largely on complex areas and sites. But regeneration is about much more than bricks and mortar. It is investing in communities and areas to develop and increase opportunities to make places better to live healthy lives, work, play and age. It is about making sure that when we regenerate neighbourhoods, the people that already live there will continue to be an integral part of the community after the work is done.

Improving outcomes for our residents and businesses are the heart of everything we do.
