Introduction

The council carried out public consultations on proposals for Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) in 3 areas of the borough: Bounds Green, Bruce Grove West Green and St Ann’s. These proposals will deliver pedestrian prioritised streets that will improve air quality, reduce traffic levels, enable safer walking and cycling.

It is very important that the LTNs are supported by the community so we asked those living and working in and near the area to review the consultation documents below and let us have their feedback on the proposals.

For more information on our LTN programme, including an explanation on what an LTN is and why we are embarking on this ambitious programme, please visit the Low Traffic Neighbourhoods page. This page also outlines the community engagement stages carried out to get to this public consultation stage.

Disabled People and Carers Survey

To better understand the travel and transport needs of disabled people and carers in the borough, we launched a 'Disabled People and Carers Survey’.

This survey closed on 1 September 2021.

General correspondence

Unfortunately due to the very high volume of correspondence, we were unable to respond to every email received to the public consultation.

We have prepared a Frequently Asked Questions document - we encourage you to read it as it may answer your queries:

  • Low Traffic Neighbourhoods FAQs (PDF, 70KB)

Please be assured that every comment and completed questionnaire was considered as part of the consultations.
