Active Travel Projects

New Round of Active Trave Grants will be open in September 2019, register your interest now by emailing us smarter.travel@haringey.gov.uk we welcome new groups with new ideas too.

Smarter Travel has been welcoming funding applications for active travel projects - such as a walking club, a bike loan scheme or bike maintenance programme, that encourage residents to walk or cycle rather than drive.

Organisations were able to apply to the council for up to £4,000 of funding from Haringey/TfL to get their project started, .

Applications had to show that the project was promoting both walking and cycling as well as demonstrate that the scheme would lead to an increase in these activities.
