Electric Vehicle Charging Points
- Haringey's electric vehicle ambition
- Electric vehicle charging - Source London
- Request a charging point
To improve air quality in Haringey, we are introducing new measures and projects associated with electric vehicles. This ranges from increasing public awareness on the benefits of electric vehicles and electrifying the council fleet, to installing more charging points with different power supplies to support different user needs and charging patterns.
These actions can be viewed in our Draft Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle Action Plan (2019-2029) - summary document (PDF, 638KB).

We have introduced 38 new charging points in 14 locations across the borough. 37 of these charging points provide 7kW of power, which will charge your vehicle in approximately four hours. There is one charging point with 22kW, which will charge your vehicle in approximately one to two hours.
IER took over the management of the Source London network from Transport for London in September 2014 and now operates and manages Source London on behalf of the scheme partners.
Source London is a city wide network of electric vehicle charge points, which was launched in 2011 by Transport for London. Source London works together with a number of private partners and London boroughs, including Haringey, to bring together existing and new charging points into a single network. This network is accessible with a single membership card.
All existing EV charging points in the borough are part of the Source London network. Further information and charging point locations can be found on the Source London website (external link).
Joining the Source London network
If you wish to use these charging points you will need to register with Source London to get a membership card. Further information on how to register can be found on the Source London website (external link).
Registering with Source London means you will get one membership card which allows you to access any networked Source London charging points in London, not just those in Haringey. There are now over 1,300 network charging points in the city.
To access Source London charging points, you will have to become a member. The full membership fee is £4 a month (yearly subscription) and 3.6p/min when using their new smart charging points, with a minimum session fee of 20 minutes and an overnight cap of £8.64 from 8pm to 7am. Alternatively you can opt for a Flexi Membership if you use these points less, or even as pay as you go.
You can find further information on the Source London charges page (external link).
