Permission to park permit

Eligibility, cost, where you can park and how to buy a permission to park permit.

A permission to park permit lets you park on a street you choose within a controlled parking zone (CPZ). This permit is ideal for landlords or tradespeople. 

Eligibility 

You must be over 18.  

Cost 

A daily permit is £25. There are no refunds.

Where you can park 

You can only park on your chosen street in: 

  • resident permit holder bays 
  • resident permit holder shared-use bays (resident permit and pay by phone) 
  • permit holder bays
  • permit holder shared-use bays (permit holder and pay by phone)

You cannot park in pay by phone only bays.

Make sure to check your chosen street has a resident or shared-use bay before buying a permit.

You cannot use permission to park permits on events days in event day CPZs which are:

  • Tottenham Hotspur Stadium event day CPZ. 
  • Tottenham Hale North Event Day CPZ 
  • Tower Gardens Event Day CPZ

Buy a permission to park permit 

  1. Log in to your parking account or set up a parking account. If setting up a new account, select the ‘Customer Type’ that best suits you.  
  2. Under ‘Your permits’ click ‘See permits you can apply for (not visitor permits)’.  
  3. Under ‘Permit type – Permission to park’, click buy.  
  4. Accept the terms and conditions.   
  5. Enter the postcode or street name of the road you want to park in. 
  6. Enter your vehicle registration, click ‘Find vehicle’, then click ‘Add vehicle’.  
  7. Enter the number of days you want your permit for.  
  8. Enter the date you want the permit to start.   
  9. You’ll see the cost of your permit.   
  10. Pay for your permit.
