The Council would like to apologise to anyone who has experienced problems activating online visitor parking permits or carrying out other online transactions on Thursday 13 January 2022.
The parking permit service is now working.
In the unlikely event of a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) being issued to you on Thursday 13 January 2022 you should contact the Council online or write to the address provided on the reverse side of the PCN.
If you have a PCN with a HP prefix, please visit our guidance page for more information.
Parking bay suspensions

- Cancellations or changes
- Current suspensions in operation
Parking spaces may be suspended for the following reasons:
- building works (including the placement of skips)
- filming (visit the Film Office pages for more information on filming in Haringey)
- statutory utility works
- tree maintenance
- funerals taking place at churches
A suspension to a parking space or spaces prohibits the use of the space or spaces by anyone other than the person or organisation that applied for the suspension. Parking spaces cannot be suspended to gain preferential parking for vehicles at the site.
Parking suspensions are charged at a daily fee of £26.35 per single car space, plus an administration fee of £105.35.
If the suspension has been processed, the cancellation fee is £52.75. If the suspension has been processed and suspension boards installed on site, the cancellation fee is £105.35
Should you require a Suspension longer than 6 months, we would advise you to consider applying for a Traffic Management Order (TMO) as this could prove to be more cost effective.
Suspensions only apply during the operational hours of the specific Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), so please check the times of the location that you require before applying online. If you require a suspension outside of the operational hours, please contact the Network Management Team on 020 8489 1300.
Please note that some CPZs operate during the weekend, while others do not. If your application relates to a Monday to Friday CPZ, and you require a suspension that spans two weeks, please select the actual days that you require the suspension to apply.
If you require further assistance, please contact the Suspension Team on 020 8489 2153.
If you intend to use the parking space for a skip or building materials, you will also need a license to allow you to place those items on the public highway.
Applications must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the date you require the suspension to start. This allows for processing and a period of advanced on-street warnings.
Applications for the suspension of parking spaces must be made online:
Should you need to change or cancel the suspension you have booked, you must contact us by email at least eight days before the date your suspension is due to start, otherwise an additional administration charge will apply to changes. Refunds will not be made for cancellations.
