Super Sunday: Mass vaccination event at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 20 June
Haringey Council is working in partnership with the NHS and Tottenham Hotspur FC to host a mass vaccination clinic at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 20 June.
COVID-19 vaccines will be made available on either an appointment or walk-in basis, subject to availability, between 10am – 6pm. Anyone over the age of 23 is currently eligible to receive a jab. Eligible, older people who previously have not been vaccinated when notified, are very welcome to use this opportunity to get vaccinated too.
You can book your slot for vaccination through your GP, or by this Eventbrite link (external site). Alternatively, you can walk up on the day without an appointment, subject to vaccine availability – please be aware you may have to queue to enter the stadium.
Between 3,000-5,000 vaccinations are expected to be given on the day, with all attending receiving a jab appropriate to their age group.
Entry to the stadium will be gained via Paxton Terrace, which is fully wheelchair accessible via a street level lift. A managed queueing system will be in place to ensure social distancing is maintained. Face masks must be worn by attendees at all times.
Vaccinations will be carried out in the stadium’s West Stand Level 1 concourse, delivered by trained vaccinators from the GP vaccination sites in Haringey.
Dr Will Maimaris, Director of Public Health at Haringey Council said:
“In line with the rest of London, cases of COVID-19 are rising in Haringey. Most people get vaccinated when it is their turn, but there is still a significant proportion of eligible people, who have yet to get vaccinated.
“Vaccination is our best defence against COVID-19 and the current, most prevalent Delta variant, that first originated in India, is more transmissible than previous variants. The delay to step 4 of the roadmap out of lockdown is evidence of just how quickly the situation can change. I would urge anyone who hasn’t been vaccinated to take advantage of this great event at Spurs.”
“Thank you for playing your part to #KeepHaringeySafe”

While the vaccine clinic takes place in the West Stand, on the other side of the stadium, the NFL Home Locker Room will host a blood donation event being run by the NHS, targeted at members of the Black community – aged 17-66 – in a drive to increase blood donation to aid treatment of sickle cell disease.
A dedicated phone line - 0300 303 2737 - has been set up to book appointments on these sessions.
