Parking enforcement to commence – Monday 6 July
At the beginning of June, we announced that parking enforcement would be restarting, following a temporary reduction due to the coronavirus pandemic.
We emailed all permit holders, sharing details of the restart date on Monday 6 July, and placed warning notices on vehicles. We also placed information posters in town centres and next to pay-by-phone bays. Information about the availability of a new one-day £15 parking charge has also been shared.
From Monday 6 July, full enforcement will resume. This includes the restart of Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) enforcement of permit bays, shared-use and pay by phone bays and public car parks. Vehicles parked in contravention may be issued a penalty charge notice.
Permits can be purchased or renewed online or by post, by downloading the Resident and Visitor Parking Permit application form (PDF, 92KB). To appeal a PCN, please follow the instructions on the notice.
If you are unable to access the Internet, you can phone 0208 489 0000 and ask for a form to be posted out to you. If you are unable to post your application, you can be supported and apply over the phone.
