Most coronavirus rules set to end in England
The Government has announced more details about step 4, the final stage of the roadmap, which is expected to start on 19 July. There are also 5 principles for managing COVID-19 as we learn to live with the virus.
Face masks will no longer be legally required and social distancing rules will be scrapped at the final stage of England's coronavirus lockdown roadmap. The rule of six inside private homes will be removed and work-from-home guidance abolished. The final step is expected to go ahead as planned on 19 July, following a review of the latest data on 12 July.
