We share the shock of the local community following the death of Iuliana Tudos and the discovery of her body in Finsbury Park, and our thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends at what must be an exceptionally difficult time for them.
Thankfully, incidents of this nature are very rare in Haringey, but we understand that it will have caused a great deal of concern for local residents and park users. Police officers are out in the community speaking to local residents and community groups. We are working closely with the police to support their investigation, and we thank park users for their patience while areas of the park remain cordoned off by the police.
The police are appealing for anyone with information regarding Iuliana’s death to call their dedicated incident room on 020 8785 8244 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Further information about the police appeal can be found on the Met Police website.
