Five-year plan to support Haringey households in fuel poverty
Around 15,000 Haringey households living in fuel poverty will receive help, interventions and support after the Affordable Energy Strategy 2020-2025 (AES 20-25) was passed at Cabinet this week.
The AES 20-25 builds upon previous – and existing – fuel poverty interventions, with a wider scope than prior strategies.
It will improve the energy efficiency of homes in all tenures, while there shall also be a referral network to help tackle fuel poverty in the borough.
Here’s Cllr Kirsten Hearn talking about the Affordable Energy Strategy 2020-2025 in filmed footage recorded on Wednesday.
