Join us at the exciting launch of Haringey’s new Accessibility Guide
Please join Haringey Council and AccessAble at a celebratory event to launch the Local Access Guide to Haringey.
Disabled residents and visitors across Haringey now have their own online access guide which provides detailed information to over 90 venues in the borough. Everything included has been asked for by disabled people and carers, so it covers much more than just automatic doors and ramps - offering information on things like lighting, alarms, changing places, signage and hearing loops.
Most importantly, venues and spaces have been visited and assessed by a trained surveyor, so you can get all the facts, knowing someone has actually been there to collect the details.
Come along to hear more about the guide and how it aims to maximise independence and choice for disabled people in Haringey.
When and where
Wednesday 10 October 2018 from 1-3pm at the Winkfield Resource Centre, 33 Winkfield Road, Wood Green, London N22 SRP
