Changes to the My Account service
Our My Account service has now switched platforms. The new platform will help us to improve the online customer experience and eventually, also to increase the range of services we can provide to users.
Current My Account users will have to go through a simple process to re-register their accounts - the process will take only a few minutes to complete. It’s advisable for existing users re-register to using the same email address in order to keep a record of previous reports made on the system.
My Account is our system for accessing council services quickly and securely, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Once registered, you can access My Account to:
• View and manage your Council Tax account
• Sign into your library account
• Apply for free school meals and clothing grants
• Report an environmental nuisance
You can find out more about My Account and the changes to the system by visiting the My Account page on our website.
Cllr Matt White, Cabinet Member for Corporate and Civic Services, said: “My Account is the easiest way of accessing council services and these changes are made with residents in mind. The new platform will streamline the system and allow residents to report issues and access information quickly and hassle-free.”
