Whether you want to stay active and maintain your physical health and mental wellbeing or you’re just looking for a great family day out, head on over to Park Road Leisure Centre & Lido (N8 8JN) on Wednesday (27 August 2025, 10:30am-4pm) for a community-focused event packed with fun, fitness and fantastic memories.
There will be baby yoga/massage (with a mix of massage and gentle movements, 3pm-4pm), face painting (11am-1pm), FREE indoor junior swimming, hula hoops (11:30am-12:30pm), junior gym taster sessions, kids’ dance (1:45pm-2:45pm - 2 x 30-minute sessions: 1:45pm-2:15pm & 2:15pm-2:45pm), kids’ yoga (12:30pm-1:45pm - 2 x 30-minute sessions: 12:30pm-1pm & 1:15pm-1:45pm), £1 junior Lido swimming, £1 soft play, Tai Chi and taster sessions.
There will be something for people of all ages to enjoy, regardless of whether you’re playing an active role in proceedings or simply watching on from the sidelines.

The previous Open Days have taken place at New River and Tottenham Green on Tuesday 5 August and Thursday 14 August respectively.
With the emphasis being on fun for all the family at Tottenham Green, participants enjoyed an unforgettable day filled with excitement and laughter as they got to experience free junior swimming, inflatables galore, junior gym taster sessions, multi-sports activities, £1 soft play and taster sessions.
The initial Open Day at New River was another community-focused event packed with fun and exciting activities including athletics, basketball, football and much more besides.
