Ewelina

Ewelina has several years of experience of working in various communications and community engagement roles supporting communities through different initiatives that she developed and managed. She was an Interpreter for a decade and has recently worked in event and project management, the latter of which she continues doing.

During lockdown, Ewelina volunteered to partake in a number of projects working with people affected by government restrictions and helping to tackle isolation and loneliness, in particular among older generations. She also worked on a number of communications and digital campaigns in support of various social and public health causes she is passionate about.

Ewelina has now joined a team of journalists at Information Station and she finds this an excellent initiative that provides a wide platform for everybody to exchange views, develop ideas and content to connect and communicate with different communities.

Ewelina has lived in Haringey for 6 years; she loves cycling, cooking, trips to museums and galleries.  She is a keen reader of non-fantasy books, with a great passion for politics, the environment and Italian art which she likes writing about.
