Ewelina has several years of experience of working in various communications and community engagement roles supporting communities through different initiatives that she developed and managed. She was an Interpreter for a decade and has recently worked in event and project management, the latter of which she continues doing.
During lockdown, Ewelina volunteered to partake in a number of projects working with people affected by government restrictions and helping to tackle isolation and loneliness, in particular among older generations. She also worked on a number of communications and digital campaigns in support of various social and public health causes she is passionate about.
Ewelina has now joined a team of journalists at Information Station and she finds this an excellent initiative that provides a wide platform for everybody to exchange views, develop ideas and content to connect and communicate with different communities.
Ewelina has lived in Haringey for 6 years; she loves cycling, cooking, trips to museums and galleries. She is a keen reader of non-fantasy books, with a great passion for politics, the environment and Italian art which she likes writing about.
