Haringey coronavirus (COVID-19) updates
London is on High COVID-19 Alert – this means that we cannot meet indoors with anybody outside our household or support bubble.
With Halloween coming up, usual plans may need to change this year.
Public Health England London are encouraging families to think twice about trick or treating this Halloween. They advise that children going door to door, ringing on the same doorbells and rummaging in the same bowl of sweets, is an unnecessary risk.
Why not consider other ways to mark Halloween as a family instead, to protect yourselves and your communities?
However you do Halloween, please do consider vulnerable residents, who may be particularly anxious and alarmed by repeated knocks on their door, and remember you must never be with more than 6 people outside. Read the government’s Tier 2 guidance.
Alexandra Palace has launched its first online Wellness Café for older people and people living with dementia to get creative at home during the pandemic.
Over the coming months the sessions will be held online to allow people to stay connected, with a series of resources made by the regular Wellness Centre contributors that aim to keep you inspired!
