Haringey coronavirus (COVID-19) updates
We know that navigating through the pandemic and out of lockdown takes a lot of adjusting and will, understandably, have an impact on the mental health and wellbeing of many people. We want to reassure residents that they are not alone and there is help and support available.
Thrive LDN (external link), a citywide movement to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all Londoners, has numerous resources and toolkits available to support those who may be feeling anxious about coronavirus and how it may affect them during this time.
Locally, the council also has many services and resources available to help residents to stay positive and support them with their mental health and wellbeing.
We’ve been working with Fusion Lifestyle to make Haringey’s leisure centres a safe environment for you to use and enjoy again, and we’re pleased to announce that we will reopen some facilities at Tottenham Green Pools and Fitness next week.
On Friday 14 August 2020 the gym will open to the public and exercise classes will resume. The 25m pool will open on Wednesday 19 August, and we will then proceed with a phased reopening of the other areas of the centre. We’ll provide further updates as soon as we can.
