Haringey coronavirus (COVID-19) updates
There is now a national postcode checker for people to find out where the nearest rapid testing centre is for people who do not have any Covid-19 symptoms.
As many as one in three people who have Covid-19 do not show any signs of having it.
So, Haringey, along with local authorities up and down the country are encouraging everyone to take a lateral flow test.
They are quick, easy and free, for everyone.
Haringey currently has three testing centres in the borough with more expected soon. You can find out where on our testing page here.
The tests are very important, especially for people who regularly have to travel on public transport or whose work brings them into daily contact with others.
The government has recently launched a service to get the forms you need to order coronavirus (COVID-19) rapid lateral flow tests for your employees.
Please note: Do not use this service if you or your employees have symptoms. Anyone with symptoms should order an individual test and stay at home.
You can register to order tests if:
- your business is registered in England
- you employ 50 people or more
- your employees cannot work from home

Those who are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine but haven’t yet been invited by the NHS to take it, no longer need to wait for a letter and can now book an appointment online.
People in the first four priority groups which includes all those aged 70 years and over and the clinically extremely vulnerable can book their COVID-19 vaccination appointment by visiting www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination (external link) or calling 119 for free.
Eligible people can also book an appointment at a vaccination centre, community pharmacy, or by calling their GP surgery.
The NHS is continuing to follow the official advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) and is vaccinating those most at risk first, and those who work closest with them.
